These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website and the logistics, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain services provided by Jhoolay Lal Logistics (“JLL”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, booking our services, or using any of our logistics solutions, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. Introduction
Jhoolay Lal Logistics is a Pakistan-based transportation and logistics company offering road transportation, full truck load (FTL), part truck load (PTL), container movement, warehousing, and supply chain solutions across Pakistan.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “Customer”, “Shipper”, or “you”) and Jhoolay Lal Logistics.
2. Our Services
We provide the following services:
- Inter-city and intra-city goods transportation
- Full Truck Load (FTL) and Part Truck Load (PTL)
- Container transportation
- Warehousing and storage
- Last-mile delivery
- Project cargo and heavy equipment movement
- Real-time shipment tracking
- Supply chain management solutions
All services are subject to availability, route feasibility, and compliance with these Terms.
3. Quotations and Pricing
- All quotations are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
- Quoted rates are based on the information provided by you (weight, volume, nature of goods, pickup & delivery locations).
- Final charges may vary if the actual shipment details differ from the provided information.
- Any additional charges (tolls, detention, loading/unloading, waiting time, etc.) will be billed separately.
- All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) unless otherwise agreed.
4. Booking and Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation (email/WhatsApp) from us and make the required advance payment (if applicable).
- We reserve the right to accept or reject any booking without giving any reason.
- You must provide accurate and complete information about the shipment.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment must be made as per the agreed terms (advance, on delivery, or credit terms).
- For new customers, full or partial advance payment may be required.
- In case of credit facility, all invoices must be cleared within the agreed credit period.
- Late payments will attract a 2% per month late fee.
- We accept payments via Bank Transfer, EasyPaisa, JazzCash, and other digital modes.
6. Shipment Preparation and Packaging
- You are responsible for proper packaging, labeling, and securing of goods.
- Fragile, hazardous, or valuable items must be clearly marked and declared.
- We reserve the right to refuse poorly packed shipments.
- You warrant that the goods do not contain any prohibited or illegal items.
7. Prohibited and Restricted Items
We do not transport the following:
- Illegal substances and narcotics
- Hazardous chemicals and explosives
- Live animals and perishable goods (unless special arrangement)
- Weapons, ammunition, and flammable materials
- Currency, gold, precious stones (unless declared and insured)
- Any item banned by the Government of Pakistan
8. Delivery Timelines
- Delivery timelines are estimates only and not guaranteed.
- Delays may occur due to weather, road conditions, strikes, vehicle breakdown, or any force majeure event.
- We will make reasonable efforts to deliver on time but shall not be liable for any losses caused by delays.
9. Liability and Limitations
- Our liability is limited to the value of the goods or PKR 50,000 per shipment, whichever is lower, unless extra insurance is purchased.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive losses.
- We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by improper packaging, inherent vice of goods, or acts of the consignee.
10. Insurance
- Basic insurance coverage is included in our standard rates (as per our policy).
- For high-value shipments, you may purchase additional insurance at extra cost.
- All insurance claims will be processed as per the insurance company’s terms.
11. Claims and Complaints
- Any claim for loss or damage must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
- Claims filed after 7 days will not be entertained.
- All claims must be supported by proper documentation (photos, invoice, packing list, etc.).
12. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Bookings cancelled 24 hours before pickup may be eligible for a partial refund (after deduction of administrative charges).
- No refund will be given for cancellations made after pickup or once the shipment has been loaded.
- Refunds (if any) will be processed within 10–15 working days.
13. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes
- War, riots, strikes, lockdowns
- Government restrictions or road closures
- Pandemics or epidemics
14. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend services to any customer who violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or fails to make payments.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lahore.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
